Stephanie is the Founder and Principal at Purpose Ops, a consultancy founded in 2020 to support operations and values alignment for for- and non-profit organizations on a mission. Prior, she held GM, Head of Customer Success, and Head of Responsible Seller Growth roles at high growth, mission-driven companies (Honor, Aunt Bertha, Etsy). She completed her BA at Vanderbilt in Economics, English, and East Asian Studies and her PhD in the Princeton Department of Sociology. In other lives: she’s taught business students, design students, and undergrads in NYC and Princeton; was a fellow in corporate governance in Norway; has been interviewed by The New Yorker and The New York Times; and did macro-level analysis at Fidelity Investments in Boston. Her work is guided in liberatory and equitable frameworks, and she believes deeply that the world needs ideas and leadership from people with a variety of lived experiences.
