About Sohaib Siddiqui:
Sohaib has focused his career on improving clinical outcomes and increasing access to healthcare for patients. He is a doctor and clinical researcher by trade. He previously worked in pediatric research where he helped improve the access to healthcare. More recently he transitioned to venture capital where he advises multiple stakeholders to invest and scale innovation in healthcare. He has experience in managing investments across venture funds and private family office and currently oversee a portfolio of $100M. He works closely alongside clinicians, scientists, hospital and strategics to identify, build and invest in new innovative technology in digital health and medical devices.
He has various roles including an Executive in Residence at Toronto Innovation Acceleration Partners, Entrepreneur in Residence at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. He sits on the board of GE Healthcare to advise on their digital health portfolio and is an Innovation Fellow at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto. He recently has been advising the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support the development of the digital health strategy for the NEOM smart city.
Sohaib holds a B.ScH from Queen’s University, degrees in Medicine, Surgery & Obstetrics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland/Medical University of Bahrain, and Executive Education from Harvard Medical School.
