Shaherah Yancy, MSc, MBA, PMP, ACRP-CP

Shaherah Yancy is a global clinical and health operations leader, focused on developing strategies that drive organizational and operational growth and efficiencies, while ensuring business alignment to achieve/enhance company goals. She has 20+ years of combined experience in the areas of medical device, pharmaceutical sciences, and hospital administration that span across clinical operations and research, regulatory, medical affairs, and strategic planning.

Shaherah has developed multiple strategies resulting in accelerated commercialization, revenue generation, market expansion, and operational efficiencies for large global organizations and healthcare service providers. In her previous roles as head of Clinical Affairs for Medtronic, Smith & Nephew, and Stryker, she was responsible for leading strategic efforts in the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Her leadership scope encompassed global teams in clinical, regulatory, biostatistics, financial management, and clinical research organizations (CRO) at various levels.

Shaherah’s therapeutic areas of expertise are orthopedics, spine, abdominal transplantation, and oncology pharmaceuticals.  Her experience in clinical lifecycle management consists of developing protocols, leading clinical trials, data analysis, evidence dissemination, and expedited global market entry. Her regulatory experience is across US (FDA), Europe (EU MDR, IVDR), Australia (TGA), China (NMPA), and Brazil (ANVISA). She has also developed and led global clinical trials in these countries, while responsible for business unit P&Ls.

In addition, Shaherah has partnered with physicians and key opinion leaders across the globe to improve overall study management models that enhanced diversity in patient recruitment, optimized site network operations, and decreased budgets.

As CEO of Research Lifecycle Solutions, Shaherah delivers end-to-end clinical strategies for biotech, med tech, and clinical organizations. These strategies are focused on improving and/or aligning organizational portfolios, developing go-to-market strategies, and generating action plans.
