Laura Moran is a global product development and supply chain executive with 30 years of experience leading multi-million-dollar strategies for Fortune 500 companies and international organizations in the food industry.  She led the development of hundreds of new consumer products and as the inventor of TEMPTATIONS™ cat treats, she has a proven track record of driving growth through product innovation, brand strategy, and building high-performance teams. Laura has held leadership roles at Mars Petcare, BARK, and Simplot, where she managed R&D, product design, private label acquisition integration, and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Currently, as the CEO of LPM Innovate, Laura shares her expertise in helping food companies create impactful product development strategies and innovation pipelines. Her work focuses on the intersection of consumer insights, strategic planning, and operational excellence to create impactful products and lasting business success. 

Laura is also the founding co-chair of Women in Petfood Leadership, an initiative supporting career advancement for women in the pet food industry through mentorship, leadership development, and inclusive policies. The program fosters business and career growth by empowering women and their allies through face-to-face events and developing scalable models for expansion.

Laura holds an MBA from Claremont Graduate University, an MS in Food Science from the University of Wisconsin, and a BS in Food Science from the University of Illinois.
