Josh Ruff is an innovation leader, teacher, coach, and craftsman. Josh has designed and run global innovation programs at Hyatt, he coaches executive education programs at the Stanford d.school, and as a Senior Director at Stoked, a design and innovation consultancy, he helps teams reimagine how they work and awaken their creative state. Josh's expertise is leading client teams—from non-profit to Fortune 5—through the murky space between scrappy, rapid prototyping and large-scale pilots for new consumer products, services, and experiences. Most recently, a team Josh led at a Fortune 50 company won the CEO Award for Innovation for a breakthrough solving the support gap mothers endure within the first six weeks after giving birth.

Josh has a super skill in teaching teams to hear quiet voices. He's taken Fortune 5 teams into the homes of marginalized, declining senior citizens to reimagine a last chapter worth celebrating. He taught Generals in the United States Space Command to empathize with reserved civilian staff, reimagining command and control communication protocol. He's led K-12 STEM curriculum developers through underprivileged school systems, designing supplemental teacher and student support.
