Brian Alter is a Venture Capital and Growth Equity investor at B Capital focused on enterprise software & artificial intelligence. Prior to joining B Capital, Brian received an MBA from Wharton at UPenn. While at business school, he managed a team of venture fellows with Pear VC, an early-stage fund investing in student founders. He also evaluated investments as an intern with the US government’s equity investments office, a group dedicated to generating developmental impact in emerging markets. Brian previously led the Finance and Strategy function at Artsy, a tech-enabled art marketplace, and began his career in investment banking at Jefferies. He graduated from Vanderbilt in 2016 with a degree in Human and Organizational Development.
